How To Start Accepting What You Can’t Change…

Acceptance of it is what it is puts an end to our resistance of the way things really are.

How do you accept something or someone that you greatly dislike? How exactly do you accept something you despise without giving in to it or giving up your convictions?

Quite simply, you accept that which you can’t change or control. You can’t make it be something it isn’t. All you can do is accept it for what it is, move away from it, and move on with your life. That is not to say you can’t crusade for your beliefs. You just have to know that nothing or no one changes because of you. You can’t change people. People make changes because it is what they really want for themselves.

Yes, we live in a society where acceptance from others is paramount. But as a self-dependent person you already know that acceptance from others means nothing and changes nothing if we are not accepting of ourselves. Once we accept that it is what it is we can begin to think about it from a different point of view. We can change our thinking from negative to positive. With this change, we can see ourselves and life from an entirely different perspective: one that is positive and one that is happy.

Acceptance that it is what it is takes the fight out of life and frees you up to experience real happiness from the inside out. Find out how easy it is to start…
